CuNi18Zn20 Annealed

The CuNi18Zn20 alloy, also known under the trade name “Copper-Nickel-Zinc 18-20,” is a high-performance metallurgical material recognized for its mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.

Maillechort alloy is used in various industries due to its unique properties:

Cutlery

  • Aerospace industry: Thanks to its high strength and dimensional stability, it is used in the manufacture of parts subjected to extreme conditions.
  • Marine industry: Its corrosion resistance makes it a material of choice for marine applications, such as marine engine components and navigation equipment.
  • Electronics: Although its conductivity is lower than that of pure copper, it is used in certain electronic applications requiring improved mechanical properties.
  • Construction: Fasteners and structural components use this alloy for its durability and corrosion resistance.
